The South Cape Music Academy N.P.C. Reg. 2014/177738/08 is a registered non-profit public benefit company which promotes and coordinates cultural tourism in the Garden Route of the Western Cape in collaboration with various municipalities and accredited cultural tourism operators.

The company manages several music academies providing music tuition to underprivileged young people of all communities in the region. It also founded and manages the acclaimed South Cape Children’s Choir, one of South Africa’s foremost regional choirs.

Since its inception in 1996, it has hosted concerts with world-renowned choirs such as

  • the Coro Calicantus (Locarno, Switzerland) (20i2),
  • the Los Angeles Children’s Chorale,
  • the North Florida State University Chorale,
  • the Prague Philharmonic Children’s Choir (2012),

  • the Hamburg Girls’ Choir,
